I really appreciated the comprehensiveness of your information, as always. <br /><br />I have not had a tick yet in my adventures on the island, but I do tend to be more on the water than in the bushes. Still, I do a fair bit of thrashing around in the undergrowth, so I guess I have been lucky. <br /><br />Any truth to the claims that Lyme disease can be much harder to eradicate from your system than the medical authorities let on? There are some websites that suggest it can be a long term debilitating disease for some, but these are almost exclusively created by disgruntled sufferers from the disease...<br /><br />Oh, also loved the picture of the alligator lizard.
