I appreciate your clarity and obvious love and reverence for your subjects.<br /> Interesting note to your gray whale article: I live on Bainbridge Island, across from Seattle in central Puget Sound (or the south Salish Sea if you prefer) and in 2003 I saw gray whales 24 days in a row just off of Rockaway Beach near Blakely Harbor on the east side of Bainbridge. Many others did as well. Some people saw them almost every day for 2 months! I only saw them going to or from Seattle every day on the ferry. While I enjoyed the experience immensely, the whales continued and anomalous presence did bring up many ominous questions... But the biggest was Why? Why were they suddenly here?
